Richard Nicoll: Élan and dash in men’s fur

21 February of 2014 by

Richard Nicoll must have tapped into the male genome for inspiration when he was preparing his fur creations for the 6-8 January London Collections: Men. Great colours in accessible looks were presented with a dash that was 100% male.

Nicoll began his show with fur and ended it with fur, offering pieces that radiated confidence in the wearer—and the designer. He began working with Saga Furs and visited the Design Center as a young designer. His loyalty has been mutually beneficial ever since.

For this collection, his fourth outing in men’s, Nicoll found inspiration and craft techniques at Fur Vision. From there, the Design Center helped him develop the fur looks and the creations were then crafted by Funtastic Furs of New York.
