IFF was proud to attend the 19th Mifur, Milan’s International Fur and Leather Exhibition, which was held from 4-7 March. This year’s stand included the designs of UK designers Austin Perry and Emily Oldroyd, and Mexican designer Ernesto Hinojosa. Canadian blogger Alexandra Suhner Isenberg also attended as a guest of IFF to cover both MiFur and the REMIX events.
Here’s what they had to say about the experience:
An experience I’ll never forget, I came away from MiFur even more open minded about the endless uses when using fur within design within a fashion context. Also, different colours and techniques have inspired me to sample more and more for designs towards my masters degree in menswear, which I shall be completing in December. Hopefully I’ll be seeing Milan again soon!
