Colors, prints, hats, accessories and collars were just some of the trends with fur that the fashion weeks has shown us worldwide.
Fashion giants like Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen led the way towards the biggest trend of the autumn/winter season in 2014. Beautiful, colorful furs were carried back and forward on the many runways.
The fur styles were described as bold and surprising by several media. Especially because many turned away from the classic nature colors and went with colors and prints in orange, red, blue and others imaginative colors instead.
The newspaper Alligator from Florida wrote following:
– Fur was a major staple at New York Fashion Week and at the more recent London Fashion Week, which ended Tuesday. With big names Jenny Packham and Topshop Unique showing over-the-top feather statement coats, and Vivienne Tam accenting many looks with luxurious fur scarves – all signs point to fur being a big part of most wardrobe trends for the colder months.
Fox News did not have any doubt about the biggest trend at the fashion weeks either. They wrote:
– Fur, real or faux, was everywhere on the runway. Most fur was tied into outerwear with placement on the cuffs or collar of a coat, as a scarf or an entire fur coat. While fur is very luxurious, the usage this season felt almost casual because it was paired with such basic attire. J. Mendel, most notable for fur, showed an elegant color block fur coat combining neutrals of white, brown and black
