Exquisite styles done in Saga Furs® Fox and Mink set the mood as visitors to the fair admired 13 collections at a gala show opening the 25-28 February event. This year’s gathering and related events will benefit from new HK government funding that will inject HKD 500 million into the local fashion industry.
Styles featuring the intarsia craft – a Saga Furs specialty – as well as techniques mixing mink, fox and other materials were huge hits at the runway show.
Wide range of techniques and colour matching are Saga Furs strong points
Following the show, the Saga Furs stand became “The Go-To Place” for companies looking for the latest innovation in fur techniques and superior skins.
Some fabulous designs by famous international designers are on display at the stand to illustrate how techniques translate into fashion.
At the stand, Saga Furs staff members are able to give designers individual tips and to share expertise with companies seeking ways to integrate fur techniques into production.
Just one example is a new, simple, innovative technique that lets a designer add luxurious fur detailing to a garment in just 5 seconds!
Strengthening the world’s most prestigious fur fair will help the industry
Hong Kong International Fur & Fashion Fair is widely recognized by global industry players as the most essential platform for sourcing quality fur garments and raw materials.
The capital injection is part of a vision to reinforce Hong Kong’s position as the world’s No. 1 fur centre and premiere exporter of high quality furs.
This year’s fair kicked off in a period of market transition. Weakness of the Russian market and several market factors have affected the Hong Kong fashion and fur industry. The funding money will be spent on fashion events, incubation programmes. and overseas training. The fur industry will benefit from the programme.
Saga Furs’ stand is located in: Hall 1, No.23-26!
