A picked team of top leaders from Denmark were invited to attend the prestigious State Dinner during the Danish State Visit in China. Among them was Torben Nielsen, Kopenhagen Fur’s CEO.

Only a few representatives for Danish businesses were invited to the state dinner hosted by Xi Jinping, the President of China, and Kopenhagen Fur was represented among the 15 invited business leaders.

The State Dinner was an ideal opportunity to confirm and strengthen the Kopenhagen Fur position within the important Chinese fur market. According to Torben Nielsen the invitation is a seal of approval for not only the company as well as the entire industry.

– The Danish Royal Family is very important to Chinese people and politicians, and this invitation helps not only Kopenhagen Fur, but the whole fur business. It helps building trust and makes it more prestigious to cooperate with Kopenhagen Fur, he says.

The four ministers representing Denmark during the state visit in China also attended the dinner – Martin Lidegaard , Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sofie Carsten Nielsen , Minister of Education and Research, Dan Jørgensen, Minister of Food and Agriculture and Mogens Jensen, Minister of Trade and Development.
